Presently, more people in America are obese, overweight and out of shape than ever before. The American way of consuming high calorie pleasure foods coupled with busy work schedules and complemented with sedentary lifestyles have made staying in shape seemingly harder than it should be; than it could be. I originally started training in response to the escalating obesity epidemic that’s plaguing so many Americans today. However, over the last 6 years it has become more than evident that most people's weight issues don't stem from overeating or even lack of exercise, they stem from poor lifestyle choices made from lack of information or lack of motivation. I believe that overeating and lack of exercise are merely some of the results of those poorly made lifestyle choices among many. Therefore, teaching you how to live the proper lifestyle to facilitate being fit I believe is the only way to not only get you in shape but to keep you in shape. The best results come to those who understand being in shape isn't just a hobby or something you do so you can tell yourself later "Well...I tried!"; being in shape is a lifestyle, a lifestyle that I live daily and one that constantly rewards and keeps on giving. There's a saying, "the greatest wealth is health" and I assure you no truer words were ever spoken. Nothing else you obtain in this world means anything if you aren't healthy enough to enjoy it. It doesn’t stop at just health though, because our lives do indeed involve more than just our physical health. Mental health and emotional health play a huge role in the quality of our lives and thus directly impact our lifestyles. Mentally we yearn to be the best we can be physically and emotionally in response to the challenges that life gives us on the daily. Conquering these challenges and getting better every day whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally is what drives me and it’s why I get out of bed every morning. Life is a challenge to be met not to be yielded to and that’s what this whole page, this idea, this proposed lifestyle, this movement is about; Its about gaining the tools to take on those challenges and putting yourself in the best position to be successful; to be at your best when your best is needed whether you’re a professional athlete or an at home Mom. The conditions may certainly change on a person to person basis but the idea, the concept, the standard, the mindset…never. #Bettereveryday is the goal, #Progressneversleeps is the motto and #Hardworkpaysoff is the legacy…
“Its not that some people have will power and some don’t. It’s that some people are ready to change and others are not.”
